Salary: $19 per hour + noneReference: S_152194We are looking for an International Shipping Associate available to start immediately for a leading optical equipment manufacturer with 30+ years in the industry! Shipping and receiving experience (international and domestic) and knowledge of shipping software are required.Highlights:Temporary with the opportunity for permanent hireBenefits offeredPay Rate: $19/hrSchedule: Full-time, 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pmState-of-the-art, climate-controlled facility located on the east side of Madison, WI!Responsibilities:ShippingPerform daily procedures to accurately and efficiently ship all available productsReview invoice/packing list, pull and pick required product, and ensure product and accessory items are correct (part numbers, lot numbers) and match the invoice/packing listPick Inventory in FIFO orderUtilize UPS/Fedex/DHL software for shipmentsShip and confirm shipments using Clipper Ship and Oracle softwareFile all end-of-day shipping documentsProvide information to carriers regarding shipmentsIssue call tags as requiredComplete international shipping documentsReceivingReceive all incoming packagesVisually inspect all incoming packages, rejecting those that are damaged or unacceptableDocument receipts into Excel, Oracle, or Dynamics ERP systemInform QA of all products requiring inspectionDate and initial all packaging lists and invoices receivedCoordinate with Procurement on purchase order discrepanciesDeliver packages and mail as requiredOther duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent degreeShipping, receiving, and inventory control experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office and basic shipping softwareAbility to lift up to 50 lbs frequentlyWell-organized and high attention to detailFamiliarity with FDA and GMPs preferredCertification on Dangerous Good preferredPlease apply for the International Shipping Associate role today for immediate consideration!#SPH1001Spherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
