Job Description:
The licensed practical nurse (LPN) assists patients with
clinical services in collaboration with the healthcare team,
including patient intake, medical documentation, vital signs,
injections, vaccinations, EKGs, and CLIA-waived lab testing.
Responsibilities include obtaining health histories, performing
assessments, collecting specimens, documenting care, and supporting
diagnostic and treatment procedures.
Ensures accurate record-keeping, manages patient care coordination,
follows insurance guidelines, and advocates for patients through
prior authorizations and education.
Participates in developing and implementing care plans, monitors
patient wellness, and facilitates referrals and follow-ups.
Qualifications include a vocational/technical nursing program
completion, an active Kansas nursing license, BLS certification,
and 1-2 years of clinic experience preferred.
