Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency/Trauma Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 1st Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of two years of nursing education and preferred two years of Emergency Room nursing experience License: Current Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact Certifications: Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Must-Have: Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients. This individual demonstrates competency in delivering care to a primarily adult population. The Registered Nurse job description incorporates the essential functions adapted from the ANA Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice. Other duties may be assigned as required. This position requires the ability to work three 12-hour shifts per week, with start times of either 07:00 or 09:00. Working every other weekend is expected.
