Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Intermediate Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2556.00 Opportunity: RN - IMC Job Details: • Work 12-hour variable day and night shifts with rotation every week or every two weeks • Guaranteed 36 hours per week over 13-week contract • Float to all inpatient units as needed and potential float to other south region locations (Stevens Point, Plover, Divine Savior) • Work every other weekend and every other holiday • No on-call or callback requirements • Maintain 4:1 patient ratio in 8-bed intermediate care unit • Work with telemetry monitoring for stable patients including sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy care, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke patients • Manage primary patients and insulin drips • Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS • Must have 2 years experience in stepdown/intermediate care/PCU • EPIC charting experience required • At least one completed travel contract preferred but not required • Any color scrubs accepted • Must be able to manage independently and complete tasks in timely manner in fast-paced environment • Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours • Associate degree or certificate required • Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility Facility: This healthcare facility operates a specialized 8-bed medical surgical intermediate care unit with telemetry capabilities, providing care for patients with complex medical conditions including trauma, sepsis, and neurological injuries.
