ThedaCare, a nationally respected health system in Northeast Wisconsin is seeking a BE/BC Infectious Disease Physician in Appleton/Neenah, Wisconsin. -1.0 FTE: Full time Infectious Disease physician in both inpatient and outpatient setting (split 50/50) -Outpatient Clinic at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Appleton: Monday-Friday 8am-5:00pm -Outpatient clinic averages 14-15 patients per day with support from PSR, MA and RN -Inpatient Clinic: ThedaCare Regional Medical Centers-Appleton & Neenah: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with back up support from APC on Mondays and Friday -Telehealth for Critical Access Hospitals -No call during the week, weekends or holidays -The clinical population is diverse, including HIV, hepatitis C, hepatitis B, STD's, surgical and community acquired infections, as well as robust orthopedic and neurosurgery patient population -A referral base of 200 primary care physicians are committed to partner with the Infectious Disease practice for inpatient and outpatient consultations The physicians have excellent support staff, within the department itself and the organization overall, including Advanced Practice Clinicians as well as infusion and wound care nursing staff. The providers also have a close working relationship with ThedaCare Home Care services. The physicians have an established, collaborative relationship with the hospitals through pharmacy & therapeutics, infection control and quality initiatives. A full time hospitalist program supports inpatient care; infectious disease is a consulting service only.
