Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years of
inpatient ICU-level nursing experience or prior cardiac
catheterization lab nursing experience preferred. Must have
completed two years of acute care experience within the last 3
years. License: Must have a valid nursing license. Certifications:
BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
required. Telemetry competency required. Must-Have: ICU experience
with adult populations. Recent electrophysiology nursing
experience. Moderate sedation experience required. Description: We
are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our high-performing,
multidisciplinary team. This role involves delivering exceptional
care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing complex
cardiovascular procedures and diagnostic cardiac catheterizations.
The nurse will practice in a patient- and family-centered
environment, utilizing advanced technology and minimally invasive
techniques. Responsibilities include patient assessment,
administration of medications, moderate sedation, hemodynamic
monitoring, and assisting in pre and post patient care. The nurse
will circulate and scrub during procedures and demonstrate clinical
expertise in working with electrophysiology patients during
invasive diagnostics and interventions. Flexibility in the work
schedule is required. Candidates must demonstrate competency in
delivering patient care to a diverse patient population. This
position will report to the Invasive Cardiology Supervisor. The
role includes participating in shared governance and contributing
to quality improvement initiatives. Candidates must possess the
ability to self-direct and organize varied workloads. Experience in
cardiac care and ACLS certification are essential for this
position. Travelers may be assigned to different departments as
