ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - IMC Job Details: • Work 12-hour variable shifts: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM • Shift rotation every week or every two weeks • 36 guaranteed hours per week • 13-week contract length • Every other weekend schedule (weekends are Friday-Sunday) • Every other holiday rotation required • Patient ratio of 4:1 in an 8-bed unit • Float to all inpatient units as needed, with potential to float to other south region locations including Stevens Point, Plover, and Divine Savior • No blocked scheduling requests and no travel pairs with same schedule requests accommodated • No on-call or call back requirements for regular duties • Work in Med Surg Intermediate Care Unit with telemetry capabilities • Care for patients with conditions including sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, stroke, and primary patients requiring insulin drips • Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS (Aspirus requires AHA or ARC certifications) • 2 years experience in Stepdown/Intermediate Care/PCU required • EPIC charting experience required • At least one completed travel contract preferred but not required • Associate Degree or Certificate required • Any color scrubs accepted • Must be a hard worker, resilient, and manage change well • Must be able to manage independently and complete tasks in a timely manner in fast-paced environment • Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours • May be placed on call for low census hours with minimum 2-hour call back pay if called in Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive medical center providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services to the community.
