Job Description Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Surgical Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel On Call/Call-Back: 1 night of call per week, 1 weekend per month, 1 back up per week. Could on occasion need additional call. 30 min response time meaning traveler must be ready and in the OR within that 30 min. Weekend/Holiday: every 3rd weekend, Holiday rotation Required Certifications: BLS, CST license preferred Minimum Experience: 2 years of CVOR experience REQUIRED, prior travel experience required Charting/Equipment: NA - facility uses epic charting Unit Specific Skillset: Efficient in setting up an operative suite for patients, accountable for going through case carts to ensure all supplies are available, efficient in scrubbing surgical cases in a variety of specialties, turning over rooms for multiple procedures throughout the day. 3 cardiothoracic surgeons approximately 50 60 cases per month Required skills: Cardiac/Thoracic; also thoracic robot experience. Looking for a flexible candidate with excellent work ethic that is also willing to do downtime tasks, if needed.
