The SentryWorld Private Events & Banquet team is seeking On-call, Part-time and Full-time Banquet Servers to join their team. The team is looking for someone with a passion to deliver on our high standards for customer service, while working as part of a small, cohesive team. A professional and friendly demeanor is required.

Competitive compensation set at $17.00/hour

• Ensure proper set-up of tables and bars in assigned meeting room according to Banquet Event Order
• Deliver and serve food and beverages, including, but not limited to meals, condiments and accompaniments.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by monitoring guests needs on a continuous basis
• Promptly remove dishes from tables at conclusion of meal period and delivers to stewarding area
• Open and serve wine or alcoholic beverages as directed.
• Clean banquet rooms and banquet areas during and after functionsWhat it Takes
  • Age requirement of 18+ required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Must be able to obtain TIPS Certification
  • Familiar with various types of services -plated, buffet, working lunches, etc.
  • Knowledge of all liquor brands, beers, non-alcoholic selections, correct glassware and garnishes
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
  • Work extended/non-standard hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
