Alsum Farms & Produce, a leader in sustainable agriculture and provider of top-quality produce, is seeking a dedicated Quality Grader to join our Quality Assurance team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of our potatoes, onions, and other fresh products, ensuring they meet both our rigorous in-house standards and customer expectations. As a Quality Grader, you will be directly contributing to the integrity and reputation of our company by overseeing the sorting, grading, and evaluation processes of our harvested produce. Inspect and grade harvested produce based on size, quality, and compliance with industry standards. Operate grading machinery and equipment with precision. Record and report the quality results to the quality assurance team and suggest improvements. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on the latest agriculture quality standards and technologies. Work closely with the farming and packaging teams to ensure quality consistency. Implement and adhere to sustainable agriculture practices in all grading processes.
