Society Insurance is seeking an experienced Actuarial Associate
II to join our team in the geographic area, located at our home
office, Fond du Lac, WI. This position will prepare reserving and
ratemaking, as well as conducting special projects to achieve rate
& reserve adequacy by applying actuarial techniques and working
collaboratively with our Claims, Underwriting, Accounting, and
Information Technology departments.
About the Role
Utilizes and verifies data provided by Information Technology to
prepare ratemaking, reserving, and modeling analysis.
Develops data and reports for special projects.
Maintains, enhances, and develops templates used for ratemaking,
reserving, and modeling.
Maintains clear and concise documentation of ratemaking,
reserving, and remodeling methods and activities
Provides analysis of ratemaking, reserving, modeling, and
Conducts competitive analysis with state expansion
Passes one CAS exam per year.

What it Will Take
Bachelor’s degree in math, statistics, economics, or related
field + 2 years of experience OR 5 + years of actuarial work
Strong proficiency in Excel
Completion of at least four actuarial exams
+5 years of experience in property/casualty insurance highly
