Job Description:
Location: Randolph, WI Salary: $120,000.00 USD Annually -
$130,000.00 USD Annually Description: We are working with a
national food manufacturer seeking a Plant Manager in the Randolph,
WI area. This role involves leading a team of employees, managing
production processes, ensuring product quality and safety, and
meeting production targets. The Plant Manager's responsibilities
are vital in ensuring the smooth functioning of the plant and the
delivery of high-quality food products to customers. My client
offers a full relocation package.Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise plant staff.
- Set performance goals and provide regular feedback and
performance evaluations.
- Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous
improvement.
- Production Oversight:
- Plan and coordinate daily production activities to meet
production targets.
- Monitor and optimize production processes for efficiency and
quality.
- Implement and enforce production schedules.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all products meet quality and safety standards,
including regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, USDA, or other relevant
agencies).
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures and
documentation.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety
policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
related to food production and safety.
- Inventory and Resource Management:
- Manage inventory levels, including raw materials, packaging,
and finished products.
- Optimize resource utilization, including labor, equipment, and
materials.
- Budget and Cost Management:
- Develop and manage the plant's budget, controlling costs and
expenses.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency
improvements.
- Maintenance and Equipment:
- Oversee equipment maintenance and repair schedules.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and downtime
is minimized.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary
changes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop action
plans to improve plant performance.
- Communication:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, sales,
and quality control, to ensure the plant's smooth operation.
- Report to senior management on plant performance and any
